A media frenzy
The second day of the General Assembly 2012 meeting started at 8am with the Media Breakfast, an event which offers journalists exclusive access to airline presidents, CEOs and airport directors. Sponsored by Air Contractors, part of the ASL Aviation Group, Hugh Flynn, group CEO, welcomed the attendees and gave a short presentation on the firm's history and future development plans.

RAC ends with Passenger Rights top of agenda going forward
As the second day's conference sessions drew to a close Marjeta Jager, Director General Policy at the European Commission's DG MOVE, fended off airline accusations stemming from the vast sums they lost due to providing passenger assistance following the volcano of a year ago, and other events such as last winter's weather that are beyond their control.
