| Airport Charges |
|
|
Airports provide a number of services and facilities, such as aprons and terminals, for which airlines are charged. These charges cover the cost of providing airport facilities and services and are a source of revenue for the airport. In March 2009, the EC Directive on Airport Charges came into effect. This regulation aims to ensure that the levying of airport charges is non-discriminatory and transparent. For further information, please visit the European Commission Transport website.
