OVERVIEW
ERA's aim is to ensure that any rulemaking programmes proposed by EASA are supported and justified by the need to increase or maximise safety, and that this is appropriately weighed against the financial input that is required.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
EASA's rulemaking activities include the airworthiness and certification of aircraft, licensing of maintenance staff and procedures to apply for a permit to fly.
