Introducing the Regulatory Affairs team at ERA Print

Over recent months the Directorate has introduced changes to its Regulatory Affairs team in an effort to continue to provide strong representation on behalf of ERA members in relation to Technical and Air Transport policy issues. Here is an overview of the team and the areas of responsibility. If you have an interest in any of the fields highlighted we would very much like to hear from you and to welcome you to the relevant advisory group meeting.

Nick Mower, General Manager, Regulatory Affairs, has overall responsibility for the Directorate Regulatory Affairs Department activities including operations, maintenance, safety, aviation security, crisis planning, environment, air transport policy and infrastructure issues. He represents member interests on various EASA, ECAC, Eurocontrol and European Commission groups concerning future regulatory policy. Nick can be contacted on any of these issues. keith hanrahan webKeith Hanrahan, Manager Technical Affairs, represents ERA members interests at external groups at EASA, Eurocontrol and the European Commission dealing with regulatory, technical, and safety matters, and coordinates consensus member inputs in these areas. He coordinates ERA Advisory Groups on Maintenance issues, and Air Safety

leo massetti website jan13 100Leonardo Massetti, Manager Industry Affairs, represents ERA's interests at external groups and undertakes work in the fields of the environment, passenger rights, State Aid, bankruptcy protection, air traffic infrastructure, airport matters and Air Transport Policy. Key areas of interest for Leonardo include SESII performance scheme, Network Manager, Eurocontrol institutional issues/budget and ANSB, Route charges – Enlarged Committee, ETS, Aircraft noise, ECAC ANCAT and EASA related issues. robert peel website jan13 100Robert Peel, Manager Technical Affairs, represents member interests on various ECAC, EASA, Eurocontrol and European Commission groups dealing with regulatory, operational, navigational and air traffic matters, and coordinates consensus member inputs in these areas. Key areas of interest for Robert include ICB, Eurocontrol SES, Operations and ATC, SESAR, FTL, FCL, FRMS and EASA Flight Standards. Robert coordinates the newly named Technical Affairs Group (TAG), with the current main focus of TAG being Operations and also encompassing monitoring Maintenance activities. Kim Peachey, Coordinator Regulatory Affairs, assists Nick Mower, Keith Hanrahan and Robert Peel by coordinating the Technical Affairs Group and Air Safety advisory Group meetings and liaising with EASA, Eurocontrol, the European Commission and other relevant bodies. Click here to contact Kim.

Kirsty Wishart, Coordinator Regulatory Affairs, assists Nick Mower and Leonardo Massetti by coordinating the Industry Affairs advisory Group and the industry Committee for Environmentally Friendly Aircraft Aviation meetings.
