Marie Audren became the Director General of HOTREC in August 2020. HOTREC is the umbrella association for hotels, restaurants, bars and cafés across Europe, representing 47 member associations from 36 countries.
With extensive experience in EU public affairs, engaging with EU institutions, policymakers and stakeholders, she previously served as Deputy Director General at spiritsEUROPE and worked as an adviser at the EU office of the French business federation, MEDEF. She holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from Louvain-la-Neuve University (UCL) and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Rennes).
