As CEO of TrueNoord, Anne-Bart Tieleman leads a rapidly expanding portfolio of regional jets and turboprop aircraft. A specialist full-service regional aircraft lessor, TrueNoord provides leasing, financing, fleet transition and asset management solutions in the 50 to 150 seat capacity range to airlines globally.
Over the past 10 years, TrueNoord has grown its portfolio by investing in aircraft leased to well-respected airline operators. With a fleet of ATR, Embraer, Airbus and De Havilland Canada aircraft operating across the globe, TrueNoord is established as a specialised lessor with a strong international presence, supported by offices in Ireland, the Netherlands, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
Before moving into the aviation industry, Tieleman held several positions at Deutsche Bank, first in Amsterdam during the 1990s and later in London. He holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Amsterdam, as well as executive qualifications from INSEAD. He is also an active general aviation enthusiast and holder of a private pilot’s licence.
