Mürvet Sahin is the Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager at Maersk Air Cargo. In this function she leads the organisation’s regulatory strategy, shaping market access for an integrated global air cargo operator.
She previously held the position as Head of Legal Affairs Denmark at Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and served as a Board Member of SAS Cargo Group. In addition, she has held General Counsel roles in fast-scaling international tech companies – bringing together the pace of transformation with the discipline of legacy operators.
Her professional expertise spans aviation regulation, governance, crisis management and international transactions. With more than 20 years of experience, including over a decade in aviation, she combines legal oversight and strategy to advocate for regulation that works – grounded in reality and built to enable, not constrain. She engages proactively with regulators and policymakers to ensure aviation frameworks reflect operational realities and is recognised for translating complexity into execution.
She is qualified as Advokat in Denmark and as Solicitor in England and Wales. She holds an LL.M. from King’s College London and a Master of Law from Aarhus University.
