Gilles Feith, Luxair Luxembourg Airlines

Since June 2020, Gilles Feith has served as CEO of Luxair, leading the airline through a critical period of relaunch after all aircraft operations were grounded in mid-March 2020 due to the pandemic. Founded in 1961, Luxair has been providing reliable air connections to Europe’s major cities, business centres and international hubs, offering quality travel experiences for both business and leisure passengers.

Feith began his career after graduating in Commercial and Financial Sciences in 2001, gaining extensive hands-on experience in audit and consulting, primarily with commercial companies and in the insurance sector. He subsequently joined Luxembourg’s main telecom operator, where he was responsible for managing telecom-related projects and overseeing regulatory accounting. Transitioning to the Luxembourg Government, Feith held roles in policy and financial analysis, before moving to the Government IT Centre, where he progressed from Deputy Director to Director, overseeing large-scale IT projects and services for the Luxembourg government.

At the end of 2018, Feith became Head of Cabinet to the Minister of Defence, overseeing major infrastructure projects, Luxembourg Army affairs, and policy matters. A digital native and goal-oriented optimist, Feith pairs strategic vision with the drive and energy to turn complex challenges into opportunities for meaningful impact.
