The European Regions Airline Association (ERA) has honoured Europe’s top regional airlines at its annual Airline Awards ceremony, held last night in Estoril, Portugal.
SKY express was named ERA Airline of the Year 2025, also taking home the Regional Connectivity Airline Award, recognising its exceptional growth, strong financial performance and commitment to sustainability and community initiatives across Greece.
Amelia received the Sustainable Airline Award 2025 for its pioneering use of sustainable aviation fuel and innovative contrail reduction trials, while Air Nostrum earned the Innovation Airline Award 2025 for its AI-driven maintenance technology and digital transformation efforts. The People and Culture Airline Award 2025 went to Norra, celebrating its employee-first approach and the launch of the Norra Academy to support talent development and training in the Nordic region.
