Montserrat Barriga has been ERAA Director General since November 2017. She is responsible to ERAA’s Board for the delivery and implementation of ERAA’s strategy as well as the advocacy work of the association on policy and technical matters. Under her leadership, ERAA is highlighting the aviation sector’s vital contribution to Europe’s future economic prosperity, particularly in the regions of Europe.
Prior to her appointment as ERAA Director General, Barriga worked at ERAA member airline Binter as Director of International Development and Industry Affairs, focussing on the airline’s regulatory needs and international development. Before this, Barriga headed up strategy development at Pullmantur Group, which included a cruise line, tour operators, retail travel agencies and a charter airline.
