Emilia Pankiewicz joined the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) as Senior Policy Officer for Industry Affairs in September 2025. In her role, she monitors and analyses policies affecting ERA’s members, with a particular focus on the Airport Fitness Check, digitalisation initiatives and Multimodal Digital Mobility Services. She leads the ERA Industry Affairs Group and supports member communications, contributing to the association’s communications strategy and Members’ Update.
She brings over five years of experience in EU policy, having worked at DeHavilland, a company specialising in EU policy monitoring, where she covered a range of files including environment, defence and aviation. Previous to that, she worked at the European Parliament supporting a Polish MEP with policy and administrative tasks. These tasks including tabling amendments and writing speeches.
Emilia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Université Saint-Louis, a Master’s degree in International and Public Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and an LLM in International Law and Security from the University of Dundee.
