Marios Georgiou joined the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) as Communications Officer in February 2026. He is responsible for managing ERA’s social media, producing audiovisual content, and maintaining the association’s website and digital platforms.
With five years of experience in policy communications, Marios has worked for European institutions and trade associations. He specialises in content marketing, policy campaigns, and storytelling, and has contributed to a range of advocacy and awareness campaigns. He is also experienced in supporting senior leaders with their communications, from personal branding to interview preparation.
Marios holds an MA in International Relations from Lancaster University and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Cyprus. While pursuing his university studies, he spent three years as a Passenger Service Agent at Larnaca International Airport, an experience which sparked his keen interest in aviation. He is fluent in English and Greek.
