Ramón Calot

Ramón Calot joined the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) in February 2026 as Senior Policy Manager. He co-ordinates ERA’s policy and regulatory work in the Brussels office, working closely with the Director General and the Head of Airline Operations. Ramón is also responsible for selected policy dossiers, providing analysis, advocacy and direct support to ERA members, while contributing to the effective collaboration between the Policy and Communications teams. 

Prior to joining ERA, Ramón worked as Program Manager at the public affairs consultancy Edelman, advising companies, NGOs and public authorities on EU policy and regulatory developments. He previously gained EU institutional experience at the Justice and Home Affairs unit of the Permanent Representation of Luxembourg and the legal service of the European Committee of the Regions. 

Ramón holds a Master’s degree in European Union Law from Maastricht University (Netherlands) and a Law degree from CEU Cardenal Herrera (Spain). He is a Spanish and Luxembourgish dual national and speaks Spanish, English and French.
